SafeMac AV supports macOS 13 or later and needs ClamAV, installed independently, plus current malware definitions. ClamAV is free software; your SafeMac AV purchase covers its interface and workflow. Internet access is needed for engine and definition downloads.

Checks cover selected locations and accessible files. A clean scan is not a guarantee that your whole Mac is safe. SafeMac AV complements macOS protections and is not a replacement for endpoint security.
